Take heed of the 5/5 spice warning as this paste pulls no punches. Thankfully I enjoy my heat and this soup was a joy to eat. The tang of the tamarind perfectly complemented rich salmon. I'd love to make this again when I can get my hands on some unripe papaya (I used bean sprouts this time around).
It was my first time making a Panang beef curry. It was superb and we will definitely have this again. Very tasty and easy to make.
